Brasher, ahead of the 45th edition this weekend, said the takeover was a celebration of all the participants and the stories from the marathon. “We are here to celebrate the history of the London Marathon and its stories.”
Karoline Grovdal is a debutant who could instantly produce a European top time. The Norwegian is a multiple European Champion who won the half marathon gold medal in Rome last year.
“Back in 2014, I won silver, and it was my first international race. I went on to win many international titles. India will always be the place that launched me.”
