36. ATHEN-MARATHON 2018 – „ATHENS MARATHON. THE AUTHENTIC“ – Programm – Überblick –

Der 36. Athen Marathon am 11. November 2018 bietet ein Gesamtprogramm vom 8. – 11. November 2018.

Dazu gehört das 12. AIMS Symposium, neben den jetzt schon traditionellen „AIMS Awards Dinner-Empfang für den “BEST MARATHON RUNNER 2018” in der Athener Music Hall.

Am Sonntag findet der 36. Athen Marathon statt auf der Originalstrecke von Marathon in das alte Olympiastadion von 1896 „Panathenaic Stadium.

Der Athen-Marathon hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem wahren Volksfest entwickelt mit jetzt schon 55.000 Teilnehmern. Dabei werden in den angelaufenen kleinen Orten/Dörfern an der Strecke jetzt auch kleinere Läufer für die Jugend veranstaltet.

Das Startgelände in Marathon wurde zwischenzeitlich ausgebaut um dem großen Läuferansturm aus aller Welt zu genügen, mit dem Hintergedanken in den nächsten Jahren noch mehr Teilnehmer zuzulassen.
