Tallinn never fails to amaze visitors with its historical charm. Declared by UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, a true medieval pearl of Estonia is Tallinn Old Town with cobblestone streets, gabled houses, viewing platforms and mysterious passages.

AIMS Marathon Museum of Running request
We would like to invite each of you to bring some items from your respective race(s), in order to donate it to the AIMS Marathon Museum of Running, in Berlin. The Marathoneum is the memory and documentation centre for AIMS, coordinated by Horst Milde, Founder of Berlin Marathon and an AIMS Board Member from 1999 to 2010.
Your contribution will enable AIMS to preserve the history and development of our global sport for future generations.
Display of Promo Material of your race
It would be nice if you could bring with you some promotional material of your race (such as an A4 promo leaflet or small flyer e.t.c) where we will display them in an area within official hotel of the Congress AND on the desk of AIMS exhibition on the EXPO of the Tallinna Maraton (in Competition Centre).
Estonian President Mrs Kersti Kaljulaid is welcoming you to the 22nd World Congress of AIMS in Tallinn, Estonia.
Dear promoters of distance and marathon running!
It is my pleasure to invite you to our hospitable Northern-European country on behalf of all Estonia.
In 2018 Estonia will celebrate its centennial. Our small country takes pride in our beautiful nature, kind people and widespread free wi-fi. Tallinn – the capital of Estonia – belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a great site for a marathon.
I welcome you to hold the 22nd Congress of the AIMS in Tallinn.
I am sure you will fall in love with Estonia.
See you in Tallinn in 2018!
Estonian president Mrs Kersti Kaljulaid
