London Marathon am 23. April 2017 – Anmeldungen ab Montag, 2. Mai 2017

247,069 Anmeldungen erreichten den Virgin Money London Marathon für das spektakuläre Rennen 2016. Über 39.000 Finisher registrierten die Organisatoren um Race Director Hugh Brasher in diesem Jahr.

Wer an diesem Lauf von Greenwich Park bis zur berühmten MALL vor dem Buckingham Palace dabei sein will, muss schon unwahrscheinliches Glück haben oder einen durch ein Reisebüro reservierten Platz ergattern.

Ballot opens on Monday 2 May – Run the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon

The public ballot entry system for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon opens to all applicants on Monday 2 May and closes at 17.00 BST on Friday 6 May.

Following the model introduced last year, the ballot will again be open for five days to give everyone who would like to enter the event a fair chance to do so.

Applications for the 2016 event reached 247,069 and high demand is again anticipated for the 2017 race, which will take place on Sunday 23 April 2017.

All those who enter for 2017 will find out whether or not they have been successful in early October.

2016 proved to be another record year for the Virgin Money London Marathon. More than 39,000 runners completed the 26.2-mile course, making the 36th edition of the race the biggest in its history by almost 1,500 participants.

The event also celebrated its one millionth finisher with the #oneinamillion campaign. The identity of the millionth finisher will be announced on Monday 9 May.

Run the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon

The public ballot entry system for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon will open to all applicants on Monday 2 May 2016. This ballot system will close at 17:00 on Friday 6 May 2016. The ballot will be open for five days to give everyone who would like to enter the event a fair chance to do so.
