Despite the suspension, which is subject to appeal, there will be no further additions to the track and field team heading to Rio to compete for ParalympicsGB.

All 55 athletes were named in the team based on fulfilling criteria set out in the selection policy which highlights individual medal potential for Rio 2016 or on the pathway for individual medal success at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo.

Appeals were available following the final selection announced last month, but there will be no further appeals process in light of Russia’s suspension.
