Run GERMANY: BERLIN – VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin

The VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin will take place from May 13 – 16, 2021. It’s almost time to put on your pink adidas event shirt and have some fun. Let’s bring some colour to the streets, parks and trails.

In this news you will find a few tips to help make your virtual running experience a complete success. First of all, we would like to thank you all for taking part and donating to the Berliner Krebsgesellschaft (Berlin Cancer Society) for the common fight against breast cancer.

Whether you decide to walk, stroll or run

You can complete the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin by walking, strolling or running any time you want between May 13 – 16, 2021. Your pace and distance are completely up to you. SCC EVENTS has a few suggested routes for the women in Berlin. Please keep to the rules of the road on public streets and observe any curfews that may be in place.

Especially if you go out together, please keep the AHA health safety rules into account. There are lots of regulations to consider, but it is for a good cause!

DIY – design your own race

We recently sent you your package for the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin. Unfortunately, some packages have been returned to us for various reasons. We do everything to ensure that these are forwarded as soon as possible and that we hopefully get to you in time. You can use the contents to create your own race from the start through the refreshment station to the finish. Unfortunately, your medal didn’t fare so well, and it was stuck helplessly in the Suez Canal with the stranded ship – without any refreshments. It is now on its final stretch, and as soon as it gets to the finish line we will send it on to you!

No official rankings

Feel free to get family and friends to support you at the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Run Berlin. Don’t forget that the bambini especially love to be cheered on (if they run with you)! As placings and times are not the focus of this run, there will not be any official rankings and your time is not listed by us. The important thing is to have fun.

Berliner Krebsgesellschaft informs:

By taking part in the VIRTUAL Avon Women’s Race Berlin, you are actively supporting breast cancer patients in Berlin: 2 Euros from the participation fee of each adult runner will go to the Berlin Cancer Society. If you want to do more, you can form a Charity Team with other runners.

Together you call on colleagues, friends and relatives to donate to your team.

The non-profit organisation uses the funds to provide financial support and intercultural counselling for breast cancer patients.
