LONDON 2012 – PARALYMPICS – Gold success for Wolf
Switzerland's Edith Wolf won a sprint finish at the Olympic Stadium to claim gold in the women's 5000m – T54
Wolf edged out the USA's Shirley Reilly by 0.04 as she took the title in 12:27.87. Australia's Christie Dawes won bronze.
Serbia's Tanja Dragic took gold in the women's Javelin – F12/13, setting a new world record in the process with a best effort of 42.51m (1039 points).
Russia's Anna Sorokina claimed silver, with Austria's Natalija Eder taking bronze.
Great Britain's Aled Davies won gold in the men's Discus – F42 with a throw of 46.14m, and Australia's Kelly Cartwright took the women's Long Jump – F42/44 title.
Ukraine's Mariia Pomazan claimed the women's Shot Put – F35/36 title, with Chinese duo Wang Jun and Wu Qing taking silver and bronze respectively.
Pomazan threw 12.22m for 1062 points.
