ICSSPE / CIEPSS – News – Volunteering in Sport – 2nd EuroVolNet Seminar

Coordinated by the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA), EuroVolNet is a transnational project that aims to highlight volunteering challenges in Europe and to foster the exchange of best practices regarding legal, fiscal and organisational aspects of voluntary activity in sport.

The main topics for discussion at the seminar will include:

• Recognition of volunteers’ skills and competences within the context of non formal and informal education and training systems;
• Recognition of non formal and informal education and training systems;
• Promotion of ‘education culture’ within sport and promotion of sport organisations as ‘learning communities’;
• National education policies/national lifelong learning strategies across Europe.
