The IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury and Illness in Sport will take place in Monte Carlo, Monaco, 7 – 9 April, 2011.
The conference will provide the world´s leading sports medicine experts with an opportunity to present their work to an international audience of physicians, therapists, scientists and coaches.
The three-day programme will include
- Keynote lectures on issues related to the prevention and other health problems in sport by leading clinicians and researchers;
- Symposia with invited speakers and oral presentations on how to prevent specific injuries and illnesses;
- Instructional courses on the methodology of injury prevention research;
- Symposia with invited speakers and oral presentations on sport-specific prevention methods;
- Free communications; and
- Poster presentations.
