European Athletics has been searching for the perfect pair to fill the role of European Athletics very first Youth Reporters!

There is so much more to athletics than just running, jumping, throwing and walking – it truly is a sport for life where everyone has something to offer! To raise awareness of all the different opportunities to get involved in athletics, we decided to give two budding young sports journalists a chance to show off their talent at the SPAR European Cup in Annecy.

After reading a number of articles written by local children in Annecy, we are very pleased to announce that 14-year-olds Candide Aubertin and Jean-Michel Coupaye will have the chance to experience what it is like to live the life of a real sports journalist!

Their major task is to meet their first deadline and have the European Athletics Youth Report from Annecy submitted for editing and translation by Wednesday the 25th June… so make sure you check it out on the European Athletics website!
