Chattogram 25k Run 2023 in Bangladesh – 650 runners from 12 countries participated in this international running competition
„Bangladesh’s first AIMS-certified race in the unique 25 km distance „Chattogram 25K Run“ . The event will be held at the University Of Chittagong Campus on Feb 24, 2023 .The University of Chittagong is one of the most beautiful and largest University by campus area in Bangladesh.
It is located in Hathazari Upazila, Chattogram District, Bangladesh. The University of Chittagong is blessed with natural beauty. It is famous for its natural beauty and Shuttle Train. The tourists are always charmed by its beauty.

International „Chittagong 25 km Race 2023“ was held at Chittagong University campus with the full cooperation of Chittagong University and Chittagong University Alumni Association under the initiative of ‚Run Bangladesh‘. After the competition, Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shirin Akhtar was present as the chief guest and CU Pro VC (Academic) Professor Benu Kumar Dey was present and spoke as a special guest at the prize distribution ceremony held at CU Central Sports Ground on Friday.
CU former CHAKSU VP Mazharul Haque Shah, Bangladesh Navy Commander Shahnewaz Kabir, CU Assistant Proctor Arup Barua, eminent filmmaker Rifat Mostafa, Run Bangladesh Program Coordinator Md Imtiaz Ahmed spoke at the award ceremony among others.
Race Director Sajnan Mohammed conducted the program. Swiss runner Stephane Chessman, champion of the women’s 25 km race, expressed her feelings.
CU VC said that exercise and sports are essential for healthy body and beautiful mind. If people of all classes and professions continue to walk regularly, exercise etc., the body will stay healthy and get rid of many diseases. The Vice-Chancellor urged everyone to develop the habit of walking regularly for good health.

Its known that, a total of 650 runners from 12 countries participated in this international running competition held from 6 am, of which 22 were foreigners. Later he distributed prizes among the winners in various categories. In the men’s 25 km race, Khandkar Kibria was the champion and Switzerland’s runner Stephen Chessman was the champion in the women’s race. In addition, 10 km and 5 km races were held in this competition.
The CTG25K is presented by Run Bangladesh , Run Bangladesh’s aspiration is to create world class race events that inspires participants to take on challenging and life affirming adventures with the mission statement in mind.
Run Bangladesh is aimed to contribute to the society by delivering programs where the goal is to create social bonding through competition. The key objective is to initiate “Run for Better Bangladesh” through promoting active and healthy lifestyle communities and creating opportunities.
