Atlanta Track Club – In-Training for Peachtree is Now Presented by Publix
ATLANTA – The Atlanta Track Club has announced a partnership with Publix Super Markets, naming Publix as the presenting sponsor of its In-Training for Peachtree program. In-Training for Peachtree Presented by Publix is the official training program of the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
The 11-week, 10K training program begins Saturday, April 28 and is designed for novice and intermediate runners training for the 2012 AJC Peachtree Road Race. Along with a customized training plan, the program features Saturday group runs at various Publix locations throughout the metro area. The program also includes informational running seminars, weekly training emails and a short-sleeve Reebok training team shirt for all participants. The 12 Publix training locations include:

·Buckhead/Chastain – The Prado, 5630 Roswell Rd.
·Lawrenceville – The Shops at Huntcrest, 1030 Old Peachtree Rd.
·Marietta – Woodlawn Point Shopping Center, 1100 Johnson Ferry Rd.
·Midtown – Ansley Mall, 1544 Piedmont Rd.
·Peachtree City – Peachtree East Shopping Center, 130 Peachtree East Shopping Center
·Sandy Springs – Abernathy Square Shopping Center, 6615 Roswell Rd.
·Suwanee – McGinnis Crossing, 1000 Peachtree Industrial Blvd.

"Publix focus on health and wellness as well as giving back to the community is aligned with our mission, and we look forward to continuing the partnership."
Publix has sponsored the AJC Peachtree Road Race since 2009 and recently signed on as a sponsor of the 2012 Atlanta Marathon and Marathon Relay, held Sunday, October 28, 2012.
