It’s time! For the 53rd annual Biel Running Days there are some surprises in store for you. Firstly, the run will no longer be taking place at the ice hockey stadium, but instead it will start and finish at the park on Lake Biel. A new infrastructure is being built for our new location to offer you the best possible conditions for before and after the race.

Second, the CLIMAX of the 2011 run will be starting in the middle of the city by the KONGRESSHAUS. The first kilometre will be run through the main street in Biel city in front of thousands of onlookers and fans.

These changes have been brought about in order to help the public, the sponsors and the media get closer to the action and be able to enjoy more of the race. The changes were also made due to requests from the participants.

The organizational committee as well as all volunteers have shouldered a massive undertaking with these changes in order to make the Biel Running Days more attractive for all involved. We hope that in participating this year you will appreciate the changes which have been made, and who wouldn’t want to be a part of the premier run of the new track whether it be as a runner or walker? We look forward to receiving your registrations and wish you all the very best in your training for the Biel Running Days 2011!
