German Embassy London – LONDON 2012 – PARALYMPICS – Federal President Gauck attends Opening Ceremony of Paralympic Games –
Federal President Joachim Gauck arrived in London on Wednesday to attend the Opening Ceremony of the 14th Paralympic Games later in the evening.
The President, who is an avid supporter of the German Paralympic Team, was seen cheering the German Team on during the Opening Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
Upon arriving in London, President Gauck was welcomed by Ambassador Boomgaarden.
