German Embassy London – LONDON 2012 – PARALYMPICS – Last Paralympic weekend in London
7 September 2012 – As with the Olympics, the Paralympic Games in London exceeded all expectations. It has been a fantastic ten days filled with the most exciting athletic events and tremendous human effort.
Once again London was a truly marvellous place to be for the Games. Special congratulations to Team GB, who have done extraordinarily well and more than deserves its high ranking in the medals table.
Thank you, London, for being a fantastic place for the event of a lifetime!
Thank you, Great Britain, for being a wonderful host country!
And, thank you, all Paralympian atheletes of the world!
