By the way: with the new wristband you don't have to pay twice to get back to the area of the historical Oktoberfest once you've been outside. Entry fee for the Oide Wiesn: € 3
With the new Smart Card it's going to be very easy to orientate yourself. Just scan the QR code from the Smart Card with your smart phone and you'll get a lot of useful informations about the Oktoberfest on your display. The Smart Card is free of charge.

The official Oktoberfest 2013 Collectors' Mug
After the official Oktoberfest souvenirs have been revealed a few weeks ago, this year's mofficial Oktoberfest mug has been presented, too.
After his debut last year, city of Munich official Dieter Reiter has presented the official 2013 Oktoberfest mug.
With some assistance from local traditional music icon Josef Brustman, Dieter Reiter lead through the fun and relaxed event.
Designed by art-student Aki Sämmer, the official Oktoberfest 2013 logo can also be found on the official collectors' mug.
As usual, the mug is available with an optional tin lid. This year, the tin lid shows Wilhelmine Reinhard, who made a name for herself as fearless aeronaut and drew some major attention, when she started a balloon-ride from the Oktoberfest in 1820, of course dressed in a traditional Bavarian costume.
Get your official 2013 mug in the Oktoberfest.de Shop.
