Vienna City Marathon 2013 – Side Events and Kids races on Saturday

Make the best out of the race weekend at the Vienna City Marathon and its various side events!

VIENNA SPORTS WORLD
Feel the anticipation: At the Vienna Sports World, the Expo of the Vienna City Marathon, 90 exhibitors show new products and trends in sports, health, travel and events. Special offers and action on the stage create an exciting atmosphere.

Race numbers and starting documents for all competitions are to be collected here. A total of approx. 45.000 visitors – runners as well as accompanying persons – is expected to visit this fair. Admission is free of charge.

The fair will take place in the Hall D of the Messe Wien, Trabrennstraße, 1020 Vienna, Friday, April 12th and Saturday, 13th 2013. Opening hours daily from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm.

VCM PANCAKE & CARBO-LOADING-PARTY
The Vienna City Marathon would be missing something without quintessential Austrian pancakes “Kaiserschmarrn” or classic pasta dishes at the International Friendship Party! Those who didn’t experience it yet should come to the beautiful banqueting hall of Vienna’s Town Hall!

Time: Saturday, April 13, 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.

There will be a huge number of side events like a kids corner, meet and greet with your [VCM Friendship Runner], (see schedule!), interviews with top-athletes, audience competitions and latest Marathon news. Entry is free! A large selection of food and beverages is available.

FESTIVAL FOR YOUTH
New at the VCM: On Saturday, April 13, from 4:30 p.m. onwards we are celebrating the [Festival For Youth] on Vienna’s Heldenplatz. The finish of the kids races with thousands of young runners takes centre stage at an atmospheric celebration with live music, entry of Nations, balloons start and much more!
