Vancouver Sun Run 10k, Vancouver Canada – Frank Stebner reports
On Sunday April 17, over 35,000 runners crossed the finish line at the 32nd Annual Vancouver Sun Run 10K in Vancouver, Canada.
First across the finish line of Canada’s largest toad race was Eric Gillis of Canada. His time was 28:52.
Eric also placed 6th at the recent Berlin Half Marathon.
First female finisher was Lanni Marchant also of Canada. Both Eric and Lanni have already secured spots on the Canadian Olympic team to run the 2016 Olympic marathon in Rio de Janeiro.

Men
28:53 – Eric Gillis – Canada
29:05 – Christopher Cheruiyot – Kenya
29:19 – Paul Kimugul – Kenya
Women
32:16 – Lanni Marchant – Canada
32:21 – Risper Gesabwa – Kenya
33:27 – Jane Murage – Kenya
