UKA Athletics – News – Weekend Update

Cardiff Half Marathon, October 14 – Susan Partridge (John Montgomery) followed up her run in last week's IAAF World Half Marathon Championships by winning in a PB 71:10 which puts her third in the McCain Power of ten rankings.

Olympic marathoner Scott Overall (Robert Chapman) was the first British male in seventh in 65:35.

ERRA National Relays, Cumber Park, October 13

Newham and Essex Beagles won the men's race, though it was Jonathan Mellor (David Evans), of runners-up Liverpool Harriers, who clocked the fastest individual with a time of 14:23. Mellor went from 17th to first on leg three.

Aldershot Farnham & District won the women's race and Emelia Gorecka (Mick Woods) was fastest with 11:05 as she took them into the lead on the final leg.
