Olympic athlete Scott Overall (Robert Chapman) finished 13th in 2:14:15 to go third in the McCain Power of ten rankings for 2012.

Andrew Lemoncello, a former British number one, dropped out just after halfway following the recurrence of a lingering hamstring problem.

Manchester Indoor Open meeting, December 2

English Schools and England under-17 champion pole vault champion Harry Coppell (John Mitchell) improved his PB yet again to 5.11m, which is one of the highest vaults ever by a British 16-year-old and puts him in the under-20 all time top 10 with still over three years of competition left in the age group.
