UK Athletics Statement
UK Athletics has today announced that athlete Piers Chen has been provisionally suspended from participating in athletics after being charged with having committed anti-doping rule violations contrary to IAAF Rule 32.2(b) (attempted use of a Prohibited Substance).
The provisional suspension was issued by UK Anti-Doping and in accordance with IAAF Anti-Doping Rules.
The individual now has the opportunity to respond to the charges against him including the right to a full hearing of the case.
