Angkor Wat Half Marathon Course Inspection 1st Dec. 2012

-Start Location: Prince Dángkor Hotel and Spa
-Start Time: From 8:30am-12:00am
-Ticket Fee: USD 12.00

Angkor Wat Half Marathon Eve Party  1st Dec. 2012

-Start Location: Prasat Bei Temple

-Start Shuttle Buses Transfer at Prince D’Angkor Hotel and Spa from 5:30 pm

-Start Party: From 6:30pm-8:00pm( Shuttle Bus transfer to Prince D’Angkor Hotel and Spa)

-Ticket Fee: USD 35.00 for Adult/Kids 18.00USD.( Sold out)

  • Access to Running Course

-From the Siem Reap town to the Angkor Wat temple (start point) takes 25minutes by Tuk Tuk and 20minutes by Taxi or Bus. All participants of Angkor Wat International Half Marathon must arrive the event place at least 30minutes before the starting time.

  • Final Confirmation/Expo Site

-AWHM committee suggests all participants who completed registration, please kindly present email confirmation / confirmation letter to our staff to get race kit (T-shirt, Athlete number, and Guide book) and we offer timing chip for Half Marathon and 10.5km Race only as below mention:

  • Benefits

-AWHM committee will provide Finisher-Medal and Running Certificate to all completed runners after the race.

  • Refeshments

-Every 2.5km the water station was set up for delivering water to each participant. The staff will distribute the water to all runner when need.
-Check point for the ChampionChip was set up at Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple.
-On the running course was marked the number of kilometer.

  • Race Result

The record will be posted 3 days after the events.

  • Temperature

In December, Dry Season 18-28.C (80-95.F)

  • Course Condition

Angkor Wat International Half Marathon is flat course with ancient tree along the course.There are alot of ancient temple along the course the runner could take photos during running.

It is unique course inside the world heritage area.

I- Online Pre Registration

  1. Check your BIB Number on the runners Name list ‘s board
  2. Sign a waver Clause on the desk close to the board
  3. In the Hotel go to the counter in which your category and BIB number is  located
  4. Give your sign Waver Clause and your confirmation e-mail  ( if you you have it with you if not show your passpor or ID) to staff.
  5. Sign to collect your race BIB & Timing chip & Eve Party Ticket.
  6. Go to the Counter “Timing Chip Check”   ( 21KM&10K)  to check your timing chip reconfirmation shown on a screen.
    You can immediately correct with the timing staff if any of your information is not correct.
  7. You may buy a Eve party ticket or make pledge donation or Course inspection ticket.
    Please go to the counter
  8. To go to the counter “T-shirt Collection” then present your bib number and  claim your t-shirt.

* Minority who participates in Kids race need the guardian’s signature on the Waver Clause at the final confirmation site

If you couldn’t come to pick up your race pack during final confirmation date, you should make a letter attached with your confirmation sheet pass it to your relation so they could pick up instead of you. 
The applicant after the deadline from 17 November will not accepted.

Notice

  • Entry fee and Race Categories are not allowed to refund or change.
  • If you would like to visit the Angkor Ruins, applicants have an obligation to pay Angkor Entrance fee as $20 US for 1day.
  • Fund raised by the event will be contributed to the charity activities for landmine survivors of this country.
