Tata Consultancy Services reinforces TCS Amsterdam Marathon with sponsorship of the 8K run

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a leading IT services, consulting and business solutions firm, reinforces its sponsorship of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon by also signing a sponsor contract for the 8K run.

By extending the sponsorship of the biggest running event in the Netherlands, TCS highlights their commitment to the marathon of Amsterdam. The additional partnership for the 8K track is signed already until 2015. The event organiser, Le Champion, is expecting a total of 40,000 marathon entrants on Sunday 20 October. More than 7,000 entrants will line up for the TCS 8 K run.

The TCS 8K race as well as this year's full marathon will have a unique new feature, as the new route will lead runners through the heart of the Rijksmuseum, the famous passage which connects Amsterdam city centre with the south of Amsterdam. This distance is especially popular with families and those who have only recently started running. The finish take place in the historical Olympic Stadium.
