Statement from USATF CEO on the anniversary of the Boston Marathon tragedy

By GRR 0

The Boston Marathon has always brought the running community together.  One year ago, innocent lives were lost, and scores more were changed forever, in a tragedy that affected the entire country and the world.

Since that day, the Boston Marathon has become a galvanizing event and beacon of hope in the wake of terrible tragedy.

In a sport that unites rather than divides, USA Track & Field joins millions of others in observing the 1-year anniversary of this tragic event, even as we look forward to the renewal of spirit that the 2014 Boston Marathon promises.
