ICSSPE President, Prof. Dr. Gudrun Doll-Tepper, commented, "With recent disasters like the earthquake in southern China and the cyclone in the Myanmar region, ICSSPE is doing its part to not only teach people how to incorporate sport and physical activity into disaster relief efforts, but to also provide funding assistance to ensure those involved in developing countries can attend this event."

It will occur 1-7 November 2008 in Rheinsberg, Germany.
