1.) Along the marathon route with NDR

With sports presenters, runner queries, mobile studio, marathon photos and an activity centre for children, the active involvement of Norddeutscher Rundfunk's radio and TV channels is set to give a boost to the popularity of the Hamburg Marathon. NDR 90.3 and NDR 2, NDR TV and the "Hamburg-Journal" will all be reporting from the Hamburg mega-run, broadcasting live from the route with up-to-the-minute information, happenings and music.

Eppendorfer Baum
From Eppendorfer Baum, NDR 90.3 and Hamburg Journal presenter Christian Buhk will be relaying the latest information from the race. A DJ will be backing him up with all the music you want to hear.

Beethovenstraße
Hamburg's own radio station NDR 90.3 and the Hamburg Journal will be on hand in Beethovenstraße with a DJ and their very own mobile studio to make sure that everyone following the Marathon stays in the party mood. Visitors who want to have a souvenir photo taken as a memento of the occasion can go into a Bluebox as guests of Julia Sen and Alexander Bommes of Hamburg Journal or Carlo von Tiedemann in the NDR 90.3 Studio .

Alsterglacis
The runners will pass by the NDR 2 presenter tower on the Alsterglacis not once but twice. Torben Pöhls from the NDR 2 morning team will report live on events on the course and, along with a DJ, keep up the spirits of runners and spectators alike. Big fun and exciting activities will be provided for younger visitors and their grown-up companions by the NDR 2 Kinderwelt.

Im Grünen Grunde/Ohlsdorf
At the northernmost point of the course, directly outside the Ohlsdorf underground station, NDR 2 presenter Christopher Scheffelmeier will be making sure that no-one's motivation starts to flag. Together with audience and DJ he will spur the runners on to glory.

Heiligengeistfeld
One of the attractions on the Heiligengeistfeld will be the NDR 2 truck: Here it will be possible to call up the status of an individual runner – all it will take is to enter the starting number or name of the participant in question.
