We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Enjoy, detached from the normal everyday stress and the aim of achieving best times, running through the days or a participation in a New Year's run. And above all, take some time to plan your race calendar 2011, but not only plan, also discuss it with your family in advance.
If you'd chose to take part in the Haspa Hamburg Marathon on May 22nd, 2011 also our wishes will become true. Participation is worth it. Be there when on the one hand after 1988, 1995 and 1999 the German Marathon Championships will take place for the fourth time and German Police Marathon Championships for the first time in Hamburg and on the other hand we're going to celebrate two premieres: the first World Cup in backward running and the first Marathon Expo at the Heiligengeistfeld.

1.) The Christmas gift for last-minute seekers: a start at the Haspa Marathon Hamburg
You want to enable your relative, friend or acquaintance to participate in the Haspa Marathon Hamburg on 22.05.2011?
Then send us the order form for a voucher that can be found attached by mail (you can send it to us in advance by fax to +49 (0) 40 414641-13).
On the form enter if you also want to give away additional services – such as finisher T-shirt – and whether the voucher should be sent to you or directly to the presentee.
Upon receipt of the order form, we send a voucher and a registration form to the address listed. The presentee sends us back this form completely filled out (and has the possibility to order further additional services on her/his own account).
Only after receipt of the registration form your account will be charged. So you take no risk if the presentee would not like to or can not run.
Voucher orders received by Tuesday, 21/12/2010 will be processed immediately, so that the voucher should arrive in time for Christmas (due to postal service).
2.) Free start for age class winners
As announced every age class winner of the Marathon 2010 has the opportunity to get a free start at the Haspa Marathon Hamburg on 05/22/2011.
Only costs for additional services (such as T-shirt, medal engraving, ChampionChip, etc.) need to be taken over.
All winners of 2010 will receive a letter from us these days, in which they will find a voucher code that can be used for both entry by mail or online.
The coupon code is not transferable, and can therefore only be used by each age class winner and only to register for the Haspa Marathon Hamburg 2011.
3.) Marathon EXPO Hamburg 2011
For the Haspa Marathon Hamburg on the 20th and 21st of May 2011, Marathon Expo Hamburg will be held for the first time in the middle of the Heiligengeistfeld close to the runners village and start/finish area of the marathon. There will be a 6.150 square meters customized temporary hall for the sporting goods exhibition and the registration area on the Heiligengeistfeld.
With the metro line 3 (stations Feldstrasse and St. Pauli) and the bus lines 36, 37, 112 and 3, the Marathon Expo is located in a convenient location for public transport. There is only limited public parking available at the event site so travel by bus and metro is highly recommended. In close proximity are many tourist attractions such as the Hamburg port – as well as numerous hotels, shopcenters and restaurants.
The exhibition hall is built in an U-shape: the visitors first go through the registration area. A third of the whole area is reserved for giving out the starter packets of the 20,000 marathon participants registered, in edition for the 7,000 starters for the kids run "Das Zehntel" who also receive their race packets.
Followed by the sales fair, with approximately 100 companies in the sporting goods industry from Germany and neighbouring countries, presenting the latest equipment for the runners: sport shoes, sport clothing, sport equipment, sport nutrition, sport travel, performance diagnostics, sports medicine, sports consulting, training equipment, race organizers, sports media , publishers, associations and more. Overall, the Marathon Expo is offering exhibitors and visitors about 1,000 square meters more exhibition space than last year. Marathon organizers for the Expo 2011 is again the team of Martin Greve GmbH.
The Marathon Expo on the 20th and 21st May, 2011 is open from 9 am to 8 pm. The admission is free for the expected 35,000 people interested in sporting activities on both days.
