RUNNING GERMANY – HANNOVER – TUI Marathon Hannover starts on may, 5th 2013.
Whether you are a professional marathon runner or love running just for fun – beat your personal best on the flat and fast course through Hannover!
Even beside the course you will find a colourful supporting programme. In addition to the family day on Saturday with games, sports and fun for young and old, also on Sunday samba groups, music, stage shows and great join-in activities will provide for the runners and spectators an unique experience!
A marathon of short distance
At the TUI Marathon in Hannover the event area unites in and around the New Town Hall all important facilities. Numbers pick up, Marathon EXPO, pasta party, marathon hotel and much more is situated in the immediate vicinity of the start and finish zone. An "all-inclusive package" for all participants.

More than just a run
It is not only the gripping competition that makes the marathon in Hannover so captivating, but also the exceptionally attractive side programme.
With numerous samba bands and musicians accompanying the athletes along their sightseeing tour through the city, a feel-good mood is guaranteed on the course.
The city will be transformed with a mix of musical entertainment, shows and activities that encourage people to join in. In addition, there will be a lively family programme on Trammplatz. The big stage will play host to games, fun and music and the winners’ prizes will also be presented here.
The side programme kicks off on Saturday on Trammplatz with the Family Day. Our sponsors will be providing diverse entertainment including a bouncy castle, children’s circus, and art activities from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Our showmaster will be accompanying participants and audience throughout the day.
Food and drink will be provided by our catering partner.
