RUNNING GERMANY: HAMBURG – Haspa Marathon Hamburg – Registration for “Das Zehntel” starts

From now on, children and young people, who are running enthusiasts, can register here for North Germany's largest youth run. Besides the great and inspiring audience, the participants between six and 17 years of age will find an attractive, 4.2195 km long course.

The start and finish line is located in the Karolinenstraße as last year, directly in front of the impressive Hamburg Fair at the Hamburger Fernsehturm. The course runs past the exhibition halls and through Hamburg's central park "Planten un Blomen", whose beautiful green areas are almost 200 years old and originated historically from the Hamburg ramparts. The route will be completely shut off.

The event will be divided into two group starts:
11:00: Primary Schools (Grades 1-4)
13:00: Secondary Schools (Grades 5-13 or born until 1997)

Open to children and teenagers born between 1997 and 2008. There are individual and group applications possible.

Due to the great demand, this year there will be a participant limit of 4,000 pupils of Primary Schools and 3,000 pupils of Secondary Schools.

The entry fee is 7.00 Euro (for participants resident in Germany) or 9.50 Euro (for participants resident outside of Germany)

Deadline is the April 15, 2014. Late entries will not be possible.

Das Zehntel for adults will not take place this year.
