RUNNING GERMANY: BERLIN – The history of the Wall Race as a scientific paper – 100 Miles Berlin – The Wall race on august 13, 2016

Marc Cornelius Jaenicke knows the Wall Trail really well, especially as a runner and finisher of the 100Meilen. Last year he came third after all.

Currently Cornelius is concerned in a different way with Berlin’s longest race: Within the scope of a scientific paper he examines the beginning and development of the Wall Race.

For this purpose he conducted many conversations, e.g. with the inventor of the race, Dr. Ronald Musil, with race director Hajo Palm and with Michael Cramer, who initiated the Berlin Wall trail.

Cornelius is expected to be at the starting line again also this year, although it did not look like this for a long time. A severe road traffic accident while out running, casted a cloud over his preparations.

Despite persistent pain, he wants to try a fourth participation, since this race is something special to him, he says.

We keep our fingers crossed tightly!
