Until today Nick Clark of Reading Joggers was leading Reward Running with a total of 1111 points but he has just been passed by Eric Robathan of Centurion and Adam Holland of Tavistock and votwo.co.uk Racing Team. Eric has gone into second place with 1150 points but Adam is leading with 1200 points.

We interviewed Adam last year after he broke his own world record for 10 marathons in 10 days at the Brathay 10 in 10 and then when he became the youngest person ever to run 100 marathons at the age of 23. He told us that he doesn't do any specific training for marathons and so doesn't log his miles or keep records of his training. Interestingly his training chart on Reward Running is blank and so it seems that he still isn't keeping records. However, he did say that he was going to start incorporating specific training to improve his speed. His pbs that he's set for 3 distances suggest that he has done this! He has logged rewards for:

Joining a running group and an athletics club (Tavistock)

Leading a running group – he takes two groups out each Wednesday

Running in 6 UKA licensed races: Virgin London Marathon, Brooks Plymouth Hoe 10, Bere Pen 10K, North Dorset Village Marathon, Shell Four Villages Marathon, First Chance 10K.

Set 3 pbs – 10k 33:21, Half Marathon 74:45, 10 miles 66:30.
