Rotterdam Marathon 2017 – Nageeye finishes in ‘magical’ sub 2.10
Marius Kimutai has won the 37th NN Marathon Rotterdam in 2:06:04. After an exciting race he managed to shake off fellow Kenyans just before the finish.
Lawrence Cherono finished second (2:06:21) en Labar Korir third (2:06:25).
Abdi Nageyee has become the first Dutch athlete to finish sub 2:10 in Rotterdam.
After 42.195K he reached the finish line after 2:09:34.
Nageeye is now the third fastest Dutch athlete of all time, after Kamiel Maase (2:08:21) and Gerard Nijboer (2:09:01).
