Registration Opens for Salinas Valley Half Marathon/USA

Registration for the August 5, 2017 Salinas Valley Half Marathon is now open.  The first 150 runners to enter will receive a $15 discount off the $95 entry fee.
 
The 13.1-mile course begins at the historic Soledad Mission and winds through the fields and vineyards of the agriculturally-rich Salinas Valley.  The race finishes at Pessagno Winery with a festival finish festival including a barbecue, wine tasting, music and awards

The Salinas Valley Half Marathon, now in its seventh year, is organized by the Big Sur International Marathon nonprofit organization. 

Last year’s race was unexpectedly cancelled due to poor air quality resulting from the massive Soberanes fire which burned more than 130,000 acres in Monterey County over two months.
