Record Numbers Expected at The Hapalua – Hawaii’s Half Marathon – Sunday, April 13, 2025

(Honolulu, Hawai‘i) – The Hapalua – Hawaii’s Half Marathon, the largest half marathon in the state, is set to take place on Sunday, April 13, welcoming a record number of participants.

Over 9,500 runners have signed up, including 3,000 visitors traveling from out of state to experience Hawai‘i’s premier half-marathon.

Online registration has now closed, but those still wishing to participate can sign up at the Hapalua Expo, taking place at the Hawai‘i Convention Center on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12.

Late entries will be accepted during Expo hours.

Participants will enjoy a scenic 13.1-mile course through the streets of Honolulu, with the race starting in Waikiki and finishing in Kapi‘olani Park.

Traffic Advisory:
Road closures and traffic adjustments will be in place on Sunday, April 13, to ensure the safety of participants and the community. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
