KOSICE MARATHON 2015 – Highlights from the last Kosice Marathon Press Conference

European Athletics, an organization associating national federations as well as managing athletics in old continent, awarded Kosice Marathon with the certificate „5 STAR QUALITY ROAD RACES"  

►The first channel of Slovak Televison offers 3 hours of live broadcasting on October 4

►There are twelve different disciplines you can join during marathon Sunday.

►Almost 11.000 particpants expected . The last 400 starting bibs available.

►Kosice Marathon will support Slovak top female athlete  Katarina Beresova and her preparation for Olympic games in Rio.

►Young people from all over Slovakia meets in Kosice to take part in Run of Slovak Athletic Federation.

►Aurele Vandenriessche, one of two people in the world  who has won in Kosice and Boston, will be honoured again during Kosice Peace Marathon 2015.

►Thanks to a new technologies photos from the course  will go off directly to runners Facebook accounts.

►Rare photographs from personal archives are being collected as a part  of the project  "Photo prehistory of Kosice Marathon"
