IAU – 9th 24 Hour World and European Championships – Shingo Inoue and Anne Cecile Fontaine return to Defend their Titles

The 9th 24 Hour World and European Championships take place on Sept 8-9th 2012 in Katowice, Poland.

Shingo Inoue (JPN) and Anne Cecile Fontaine (FRA) return to defend their titles from 2010. Inoue acquired the Asian Best Performance and Fontaine got her back-to-back title in Brive.

The field also includes Bronze Medallist from 2010, Ivan Cudin (ITA) and the current 48 Hour World´s Best Performance holder Mami Kudo (JPN).

The field assembled at this year´s championships is quite stellar and promises to be an exciting race.

There are record number of athletes (269) and federations (35) participating in this edition of the 24 Hour Championships.
