IAAF Statement on reports regarding Marion Jones
The IAAF is aware of the media reports concerning Marion Jones, however at this stage no official information has been received. The IAAF fully supports the efforts of the US authorities including the US Anti-Doping Agency in any action taken against athletes who may have doped.
The IAAF will monitor the situation closely to ensure that any action taken is done so in accordance with IAAF Rules.

A decision on the cancellation of results or repayment of prize money earned by Marion Jones can only be taken once further official information is known and a doping violation has been confirmed.

The IAAF has no further comment at this time.
