Since the Haspa Marathon Hamburg takes place on 22 May this year and we have to offer our runners this year even more – for example: participation in the German Marathon Championships and the German Police Marathon Championships – we have decided to make a spring promo tour!
That means: we will be at the large half-marathons and marathons this spring again after a long time in person to inform you about the Haspa Marathon Hamburg and to answer your questions. Of course, registration will still be possible on site!
Besides Berlin, Freiburg and Celle, we will inter alia also be in Bonn, Paderborn, Würzburg and the Spreewald Marathon for you. A complete list will be available on our website www.marathon-hamburg.de.

1.) Number of participants equals last year's level
Despite winter weather Marathon runners from all over the world have not stopped to register for the Haspa Marathon Haspa. "The registration figures show that the Haspa Marathon Hamburg also in the 26th Year remains very high in the favor of the runners", says Matthias Neumann, managing director of ACT AGENCY GmbH, satisfied with the response.
"We are very pleased that we can continue with the figures on previous year's level." Encouraging also is the high percentage of women. The registrations received to date are currently 20.95% women. This percentage is higher than the previous 20.5% (2010). Also international runners still consider the Haspa Marathon Hamburg. From neighboring Denmark already more than 1,000 marathon runners registered for the spring classic. To this day runners from 41 nations entered the race in Hamburg already.
2.) Registration still possible
The entry portal is still open and the organization fee is still € 70.00. All HaspaJoker customers save € 7.50. Registrations may be made directly online at www.marathon-hamburg.de or by mail to the organizer of the Haspa Marathon Hamburg, ACT AGENCY GmbH. The registration form can be downloaded from the website and is available in all branches of the Haspa.
All runners who register now, have their starting place absolutely secure. So sign up quickly for your Haspa Marathon Hamburg!
3.) Confirmation of Participation
The dispatch of the confirmation of participation is imminent and takes place in three ways this year. Postal registrants will receive, as far as they didn't give us an e-mail address, by postal mail. All online registrants and those who have given their written notification with an email address can get their confirmation of participation online and print it out. Alternatively for the first time, you can have the confirmation on your mobile phone. (For more information, please visit our homepage www.marathon-hamburg.de – following shortly) Please note that you must bring your confirmation with you to pick up the race documents and have it scanned at the entry control.
4.) InterContinental Hamburg will be runners’ hotel in 2011
Also this year the InterContinental Hamburg will transform to the official marathon runners Hotel in May. The last training session can be completed directly in front of the hotel at the Außenalster, the hotel chefs are well prepared and go to the individual dietary needs regenerating and a relaxing massage after the race can be booked directly with reservation. Win one night in a double room including breakfast and free use of the spa area at the Inter-Continental Hamburg for this marathon in the Hanseatic city on 22.05.2011. Whether as participants or spectators – stay with lots of style and comfort.
