FLASH: Asefa, Seboka Lead Ethiopian Whitewash – Standard Chartered DubaiMarathon

FLASH: Tsegaye Mekonnen Asefa and Mula Seboka Seyfu took the honours at the Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon today as Ethiopian runners made it a clean sweep of the medals in the world’s richest marathon.

Eighteen year old Asefa set a new world junior record of 2:04:32, while Seboka grabbed the honours in the women’s division with a time of 2h:25m:01s.
