FLASH: 100 Miles Berlin – Mark Perkins (GBR) with new course record

FLASH: With a fantastic new course record on the 100 miles (160.9 km) on the Berlin Wall path – the former death strip around Berlin – ran the Briton Mark Perkins from Brighton itself in the record book of the Berlin Ultra run with 13:06:52.

At the finish in the Friedrich-Ludwig–Jahn–Stadion in Prenzlauer Berg his family waited in the rain. The Briton improved the old best time of LAST year (15:53​​) by almost 2 minutes.

Second was the Italian Marco Bonfiglio (ITA) in 14:04:27 and third  Patrick Hösl (LG DUV) in 15:19:46.

The race is still in full swing – women are till now not in the finish.

End of the race in on Sunday: 12.00 h.
