European Athletics – (EA) – News – 2013 Statistics Yearbook & Athletics Review published
European Athletics is delighted to present the second edition of the Statistics Yearbook 2013 and ‘Athletics Review 2013’published in association with MONDO.
Starting with the inaugural edition last year, in place of the Yearbook we now produce two complementary publications: A glossy and easy to read periodical and an annual statistics book.
We have chosen to do this to better showcase all our events and activities through text and photos in the Athletics Review, while continuing to honour the importance of maintaining a meticulous statistical record of our events and competitions in a separate booklet.
The year 2013 was a very busy one for athletics across the continent. Amidst the many competitions and meetings and with barely a pause for breath we enjoyed the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg, European Athletics Team Championships in Gateshead, European Athletics U23 Championships in Tampere, European Athletics Junior Championships in Rieti and SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade.
It is also important for European Athletics to highlight our important work beyond the realm of high-performance. In the Athletics Review we focus on what we did in 2013 in the areas of education, health and well-being, sustainability, anti-doping, young leaders, women’s leadership, coaches and officials, and much more.
Both publications have been widely distributed amongst media, our commercial partners, our Member Federations, sports organisations and athletics fans all around the world.
The publications can be ordered by sending a filled out order form found under Related Documents.
