Andersson could record her sixth victory
Isabellah Andersson, who has been Sweden’s best runner for the past few years, is the favourite to win the women’s title for the sixth time at this year’s DN Stockholm Half Marathon.

In 2010 she came third in the marathon at the European Championships in Barcelona. In 2011 she was sixth at the World Championships in South Korea. Last year she finished 20th in the Olympic Games in London. In the spring this year Andersson claimed, with a clear margin, her fifth victory in the ASICS Stockholm Marathon.

In Saturday’s half marathon her main challenge will come from Frida Lundén who has finished second behind Isabellah in Swedish Championships at 10,000m, half marathon and marathon.

The men’s race looks to be a match between last year’s winner, Haben Idris, this year’s Swedish 10,000m Champion, Adil Bouafif and the 2012 Swedish Marathon Champion, Fredrik Uhrbom.

17 163 runners from 78 nations have entered DN Stockholm Half Marathon.

All entered runners will receive their registration card and a detailed map of the course by post in late August.
The following is important information about the race. Please read carefully.

Start number

Your start number and start group is printed on the Registration Card that will be sent to you by regular mail together with a detailed map of the course. You will get this letter by the end of August.
You are required to present this card when you pick up your race number bib.

Pick up your race number bib

Race number bibs must be picked up in the city park ”Kungsträdgården” (see map below) on Friday 13 September from 11:00 – 18:00 or on Saturday 14 September from 09:30 – 14:30. The race number bibs can only be picked up during these times.
You need to bring your Registration Card in order to receive your number bib. If, for some reason you lose your Registration Card, please bring photo identification. It is possible to ask someone else to collect your number bib provided they have your Registration Card.

The number bib is personal, thus it is forbidden for registered runners to give away or sell their number bib in order to let someone else run in their place.
Your start group is indicated on your number bib. On the reverse side of your number bib, space has been allocated for you to fill in your personal information. Please do so in order to make it easier for our medical staff in case of an emergency.
During the race your number bib must be clearly visible on your chest.

At the registration you will receive your Champion Chip, which will be used for timing. For more information on how to use it, see the information on front of the race envelope that you get at the registration.

Take the underground

The best way of getting to and from the registration in “Kungsträdgården” and start/finish at the Royal Palace is by underground train (”T-banan”). You get off at the station "Kungsträdgården", ”T-centralen” or "Gamla Stan" (the Old Town).

If you are changing before the race at SATS, you need to bring your bag or "plastic clothing bag" to bag deposit area on Strömgatan, you can not leave it at SATS during the race.
Show your number bib or your confirmation of entry (startbevis) at SATS to gain entry to the facility.

The following SATS training facilities are available for changing before the race and showering afterwards.
