COMRADES MARATHON – Register for the 2013 AIMS Regional Conference – AIMS: The Home of World Running

The Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), together with the Comrades Marathon and the Maritzburg Marathon cordially invite you to participate in the inaugural AIMS Regional Conference to be held in the City of Choice, Pietermaritzburg in February 2013.
 
The aim of the conference is to unite Race Directors and Race Organizing Committees from across Southern Africa on a common platform in order to share ideas and gain the latest know-how on staging compliant and successful running events and promote the sport of road-running in the region.

A wide range of professionals involved in various aspects of the events industry and the running fraternity will collaborate to present a full day conference covering various aspects of risk and safety as it pertains to Road Running Events and the “Safety at Sports and Recreation Events Bill”.

Venue: Protea Imperial Hotel, 224 Jabu Ndlovu Street Pietermaritzburg
 
Cost: R200 per delegate
 
All delegates must register before Friday, 15 February 2013. Spaces are limited to 200 delegates, on a “First Come First Served” basis.
