Coming up . . . AIMS races this weekend … Kigali Peace Marathon, Prague Marathon, the Pisa Marathon in Italy and Maraton Martin Fiz in the Basque Provinces of Spain

The Kigali Peace Marathon in the Rwandan capital on 11 May also hosts the second race in the 2008 AIMS Children's Series.

In Europe three other AIMS marathons are held on the same day, with the Volkswagen Prague Marathon top of the bill.

The first-leg runners of the Garnier Junior Marathon relay teams will take their places alongside elite runners from 20 countries in the first row of the starting line-up in Old Town Square. It is the most nationalities yet assembled. Including the mass field runners from 73 countries will participate.

The Pisa Marathon in Italy and the Maraton Martin Fiz in the Basque Provinces of Spain complete the day's programme.
