Coe visits media seminar in Addis Ababa

IAAF vice president Sebastian Coe assisted in a media seminar on athletics in Addis Ababa on Wednesday (4), organised by the Ethiopian Sports Journalists Association (ESJA) with support from the IAAF.

Coe, who is also chairman of the IAAF Press Commission, was joined by IAAF council member Frank Fredericks and Fekrou Kidane, member of the IAAF Sustainable Development Commission.

“It was a pleasure to answer some great questions at the workshop,” said Coe. “Now is the time for African athletics to realise its huge potential.”

The workshop was held on the eve of the African Junior Championships, which gets underway today in the Ethiopian capital.
