On Nov. 13 the organizers of the Dec. 1 Fukuoka International Marathon announced that 2008 Tokyo Marathon winner Viktor Rothlin (Switzerland), American Andrew Carlson and 2013 Gold Coast Airport Marathon runner-up Taiga Ito (Suzuki Hamamatsu AC) have all withdrawn from the race due to training setbacks.
