Bidding for the Cross Country and Mountain Running Championships now open.

Bidding for the SPAR European Cross Country Championships 2010/2011 and the European Mountain Running Championships 2010 is now open.

Any of European Athletics 50 Member Federations interested in hosting one of these prestigious events are now able to announce their intentions to the European Athletics Office until the announcement deadline, 31 January 2008.

Receipt of any Member Federations announcement form starts the bidding process and so any announcement received after the deadline will not be accepted.

In addition, Federations that announce their intention for staging the SPAR European Cross Country Championships 2010 and/or 2011 by the deadline will be invited to a bidding seminar held end of February in Lausanne.
