AIMS races – this weekend – the Hvar Half Marathon and the Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon

On 22 August the Hvar Half Marathon is run on one of Croatia's most scenic Adriatic islands and the Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon in Iceland.

On 23 August the Adelaide Running Festival takes place in South Australia.

While the rest of the day's action is in the Americas, 16 time zones to the west, in the Media Maratón de Lima in Peru and the the Edmonton Marathon in the Canadian Province of Alberta.
