AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the Osaka Marathon – the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon – the Grand Marathon Int’l de Casablanca and the Podgorica Marathon

On 24 October the Samsung Amman International Marathon is held in the Jordanian Capital.

On 26 October the Osaka Marathon is run in Japan, the Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon in Kenya and the Grand Marathon Int'l de Casablanca in Morocco.

In Europe the Podgorica Marathon takes place in Montenegro, the Ljubljanski Marathon in Slovenia, the Venice Marathon in Italy, the Swiss City Marathon (Lucerne) and the Lausanne Marathon in Switzerland, the St Denis Half Marathon, in France and the Frankfurt Marathon in Germany.

In the Americas the Marine Corps Marathon is held in the US capital, the Niagara Falls Marathon in Canada, the Aguascalientes Marathon in Mexico the UWI-SPEC Int'l Half Marathon in Trinidad and Tobago and the Quito 21K Mitad del Mundo in Ecuador

On 27 October the SSE Airtricity Dublin Marathon is run on an Irish national holiday Monday
