AIMS races – this weekend – Coming up . . . the Lake Balaton Supermarathon – the Maratona di Roma and the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon

From 19-22 March the Lake Balaton Supermarathon is held in western Hungary, competitors circumnavigate the lake in four daily stages.

On 22 March the Tokushima Marathon takes place in Japan and the New Taipei City Wan Jin Shi Marathon in Chinese Taipei. The Diacore Gaborone Marathon is run in Botswana.

In Europe two landmark races are held: The Maratona di Roma in the Italian capital and the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon in Portugal.

The world's most southerly certified marathon, the Standard Chartered Stanley Marathon, takes place in the Falkland Islands in the South Atlantic.
